Design that connects. Strategy that speaks. Work that works.

Hi, I’m Willy — and I make ideas real through design.

I’ve always believed the best design tells a story — clear, human, and honest.

I have had the privelage of working on a variety of exciting projects that have shaped me into the designer I am today. Check them out below!

I’m a designer and creative thinker with a background in industrial and graphic design, branding, and media design. This space is where I bring together some of my favorite projects — from thoughtful campaigns to bold visual systems. Each piece reflects not just what I made, but how I think. Thanks for stopping by.

My approach to design is rooted in function first. Aesthetics matter, but what matters more is how a design solves problems, simplifies life, and serves the people who use it.

About Me

William Poje

I’m originally from Atlanta, Georgia, where I grew up in a family rooted in engineering and military service — an environment that taught me the value of discipline, work ethic, and leading by example. Athletics played a big role in shaping my mindset, pushing me to compete at a high level and think strategically under pressure.

My path started in analytical thinking, but it was creative problem-solving that truly captured my interest. I transitioned from engineering to industrial design at Auburn University, where I trained in the full spectrum of product development. To expand my skill set, I earned a master’s degree in Media Design from Full Sail University, where I focused on the power of branding, storytelling, and digital asset creation.

Today, I bring a hybrid mindset to every project — blending precision and creativity to design brands and systems that connect with people and make ideas real.

Design Philosophy

  • Design is the bridge between art and engineering. To properly merge the two, function and form must coexist in a way that both executes the mission and leaves the user satisfied in its intended use. In these articles, I explore different concepts that relate to the design profession.

    Visual Hierarchy

Visual hierarchy is a core concept in design. It refers to how items are arranged to show their importance. For example, a headline on a webpage is usually larger and bolder than text below it. This helps viewers identify key information quickly. By organizing elements in a way that…

    Design Metrics

There are many different frameworks used to measure how effective a design is, and each one has strengths depending on the project goals. Both quantitative and qualitative data can be used to refine and improve a product. Quantitative data includes things like engagement rates, click-throughs, or sales growth, while…
